Vegetarian Butter Cake Recipe
Ingredient
16oz (453g) self-raising flour
8oz (227g) butter
8oz sugar
8oz evaporated milk
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
1. Preheat oven to 160ÂșC.
2. Sieve flour together with baking powder.
3. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
4. Add flour and milk a bit at a time, alternately. Mix well.
5. Add in vanilla essence and mix well.
6. Pour into greased and lined tin. Bake for 45 mins to 1 hour.
